Hi everyone! My name is Hieu and I'm a graduating senior majoring in Interactive Media Design and minoring in Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies at UWB. I chose my major because I wanted to learn more about who I am as a designer and connect my identity as an intersectional feminist and empower people through my designs.
I design because design weaves psychology, technology, and creativity and these aspects of design were the most important things to me when I tried to figure out who I was as a college student and what I needed in my future career.
Designer statement: I'm a designer that likes to disassemble problems by collaborating with others; I weave creativity with psychology to design captivating experiences.

Jodylene Delosreyes
Hello everyone! My name is Jodylene (Jody) Delosreyes. I’m an upcoming graduating senior majoring in Interactive Media Design. I was drawn to the program due to its interdisciplinary nature and cohort-based system.
I design because I find joy in creative problem solving and creating visual assets to supplement various projects that will provide a positive impact and experience to users.
As someone who has been illustrating all her life, my strength and passion lies in visual design. In regards to how I design, I strongly believe in keeping the core idea/message in mind throughout each step of the process. Iterating is extremely important, and I find it is constructive to begin with a tangible medium for brainstorming before moving onto digital platforms.

Sana Fatima
Hey everyone! My name is Sana and I am a junior majoring in Interactive Media Design (IMD) and minoring in Computer Science. I chose IMD as my major because I love the concept of being able to explore design and see how it intersects with and affects other fields in technology and media. I also love the process of visualizing something then creating it and watching my vision come to life and connecting with people. I personally have always had an interest in videos, film and content creation. Youtube has been a big influence in my design journey and follow many design content creators like Justin Odisho, Cody Brown, AJ&Smart, and Chris Do. I love editing videos, working with graphics and designing UX/UI interfaces.
Design Statement: I think the most important thing that you need to create an effective design is a vision about how you want your product to work, what you want it to do to create change and for me personally, how your product will allow you to connect with others.

Hello everyone! My name is Rafi and I am a junior majoring in Interactive Media Design and minoring in Business Administration at UWB. I chose my major because the world is constantly growing in scale, effect, and in complexity, a human-centered design approach is required to resolve them.
I design to enhance connections among people, inspire people through diversity and creativity, and bring social change.
Design statement:
As a designer, I like taking on problems from multiple different perspectives through group collaborations. Through creativity and diversity, I design to leave an impact.

Morisette Alvarez
Heyo, My name is Morisette and I am a graduating senior majoring in Interactive Media Design at the University of Washington Bothell. Being able to learn how to create accessible solutions that is most intuitive for people is why I chose this major.
I design to constantly gain a better understanding on whatever topic I am focused on so it will give the greatest benefit to users. Having an interest in UX research, collecting information and data of what the users believe is what I heavily incorporate throughout the design process so the user is always considered.
